  (05:42 pm) Gay Teen Article

    I was contacted today by Debra Whelan a writer for School Library Journal. She is working on an article dealing with collections of gay-themed material in middle and high school libraries. She would like to get some input from middle and high school librarians who oppose such collections.

    She won't use your name in the article if you are uncomfortable with that but you can't just post anonymously to her. She does need to verify who you are (that's not unreasonable). You can email her at dlau@reedbusiness.com and please put "gay teen article" in the subject line.

    I will be emailing my own views at her request and after the article is published I'll post what I sent.
